TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE
Section 1
nevertheless vs though
Their days are numbered;neverhteless these people go on dreaming.
Their days are numbered; these people go on dreaming, though.
Section 2
next vs next to
Who sits next (to) you in the classroom?
You had better sit next the fire。
To write to you is the great pleasure to me, next to hearing from you.
What the representative of that country suggested is next to nothing.
Section 3
nightgown vs evening gown
She changed into her nightgown and hopped into bed.
She wore an evening gown of shimmering gold at the party.
Section 4
emigrate vs migrate
They have emigrated to Australia.
Come autumn, it's time for the bird to prepare to migrate again.
DAILY SPEAKING
That's another cup of tea.
