英文推荐信写作

        一封有说服力的推荐信往往能使应聘者脱颖而出，获得进一步面试的机会。它可以是师长，前任老板，甚至是任何有工作往来的人写的意见，作用就是使收信人对被推荐者有一定的侧面的客观了解，从而进行公平地筛选取舍。

        由于推荐者希望招聘单位给予求职者以礼遇，所以推荐信必须写得诚挚，谦恭。推荐者要在信中说明自己与求职者的关系，实事求是地介绍求职者的能力，品德和性格方面的优缺点。当然，在介绍不足之处时应当婉转。

        当招聘者回信给推荐者，进行确认或征求意见时，应当及时回信，因为这可能意味着所推荐的求职者正在考虑范围内。

下附一例，以作示范：

        Mr. Zhang was willing and able to take on increased responsibility when necessary. In 1997, he was promoted to manager of the International Service Department, and worked in that position until leaving the company.

        I sincerely recommend him to any other related positions for which he will apply. Your serious consideration of this letter will be appreciated.
